Elan is the name and Vintage is my game. I am utterly addicted to clothes but as a college student, tuition comes first. My new budget requires me to limit my fashion expenditures. In an attempt to remain stylish I discovered the wonderful world of thrifting which eventually spurred my love for vintage clothing. I use this blog and my online Etsy shop to show other fashionistas on a budget that acquiring a perfect wardrobe doesn't have to mean shelling out hundreds of dollars. Shopping vintage is more affordable and definitely results in more unique pieces.

I get so much of my inspiration from photographs of my mother. Although she no longer has any of her awesome duds from back in the day, I sometimes find myself trying to emulate some of her looks. From pleated skirts to high waist riding pants she has definitely rubbed some of her fashion sense off on me.

Elan Renegade Vintage is obsessed with vintage. I wear vintage, the blog focuses on vintage styles, and the shop sells vintage clothing including dresses, skirts, pants, shorts, blouses, and jackets ranging in style and print from floral to leather. Accessories including hats, bags, shoes, and jewelry are also sold in the shop. These items originated from the 60s, 70s, 80s, & 90s. Currently only women's items are available but an expansion into the world of men's fashion is in the near future.
