Spring/Summer Collections are known for their use of pastels and brightly colored prints and patterns. Throwing the perfect balance of white into the mix makes for styles that even the least girlie ladies will appreciate. The 2013 S/S collection that filled the runway during NYFW at Rebecca Minkoff's seasonal debut was breathtaking. From tailored trousers, to denim shorts, to funky hippie dresses, this collection has it all. By creating intricate patterns on her garments with panels of printed fabrics and fantastic color treatments this is a collection at the top of my list for the season. Rebecca Minkoff’s playful and subtly edgy designs can be spotted on
girls everywhere from downtown to uptown, in the US and abroad. The super pretty, girlie pieces accompanied with rugged 70s inspired hippie styles created looks that can only be described as as close as it gets to riding unicorns with fairies while eating mountains of ice cream sundaes in the fashion world. Okay, that might have been my 5 year old imagination coming back. Please disregard my foolishness. But by far, this is for sure a collection that every modern girl dreams of owning pieces from. Check out some of my faves below.
